I honestly never thought I'd say this, but I have a cat now. We never had pets when I was a kid, and I'm currently living at my parents', since it has been convenient during my long sick leave. Anyway, the daughter of my mom's friend became really allergic and she had to give her cats away, and my mom suggested taking one, which I consider a small miracle. Even my dad agreed, although he doesn't like cats. And today the cat arrived. She's a small three-year-old black domestic shorthair with yellow eyes and a white spot on her chest. Her real name is Aino but her previous owners called her Piip because of the funny little pip-peep noises she makes. She seems really sweet and not at all the scared type that likes to hide away. My parents have much more room for her than her previous owners had, and she's been exploring the house all evening. I'll probably upload photos of the little sweetie at some point. (Which reminds me, I bought myself a new camera; a Nikon D3100. Hooray for that too.)

Looks like it was July the last time I updated my journal. Oops. There hasn't been much to update, anyway. I was on a hiatus from all arty things for a couple of months since I didn't feel too inspired. Luckily, the autumn seems to have brought me plenty of inspiration. I even started going to art circle meetings on Wednesdays. Basically it's a group of people focusing on their own art projects while the teacher goes from people to people giving us tips on how to improve our work and telling us to buy Apple products (apparently he really likes Apple). I'm currently working on an acrylic painting there. I rarely have hobbies that require me to go somewhere and do something at a specific time with other people, so it's a nice change of pace. Besides, now I have a reason to paint, which I don't do much on my own, and I have an incentive to make art that isn't fanart.

Lately I haven't been drawing so much. Instead, I've been crocheting, mainly amigurumi, but I'm also making a Lenore plushie. I'm really liking how it's turning out and am planning on crocheting Ragamuffin too. Right now I'm also knitting a pair of socks for myself. I'm obviously slightly masochistic because I keep starting projects that include knitting cables, which definitely aren't my favorite thing to knit. That's something to think about when my fingers are hurting, but at least the yarn is alpaca, so I keep on imagining friendly alpacas while I knit.

In general, I seem to have a lot of enthusiasm to make things right now. I usually get more depressed in the autumn and was already starting to feel it, but my doctor prescribed me new meds and I'm really glad to see they seem to be working for me in very small doses. I'll be really happy if this will be my first depression-free autumn for years.

Lastly, I need to apologize those few people who I've rp'ed with or have been meaning to rp with, and just vanished. I'm not sure if those people see this, but I've had a lot on my mind and haven't really felt like talking to most people on Skype or MSN for quite a long time.

Hello, everyone.

I'll just update my journal quickly, because it's a way for me to declare I'm still alive and checking out dA regularly (God knows if anyone ever reads what I scribble here, though.) and to pretend that my mess of unfinished things is actually neatly organized, because I list it here.

I've recently started watching Doctor Who, because having my best fandom pal squeeing over something, I have no idea what it's about is apparently enough to annoy me into watching the said something. Naturally I'm squeeing over it too now. Too bad I'm already at season 5 and there's no more David Tennant. He was definitely my favorite Doctor. :iconsaddoctorplz: I was also gently brainwashed into liking Doctor/Master, and I'll be roleplaying it pronto. I get the Master's role and am of course excited for it. I love playing the roles of bad guys and characters that are just generally assholes.

Which reminds me, if somebody who's into HinaBN and likes to rp is actually reading this, I'm always happy to get to know to new people. I'm juggling two fandoms now, both DW and HinaBN, and could use more partners. Right now I only have one Conrad to rp with. I play Worth (Oh yeah, asshole roles) and WorthMont and ConWorth are my preferred pairings. Send me a note or comment. I promise I won't bite (although I may nibble a bit if you seem tasty).

And finally the list of the stuff I'm working on. I need to finish something. Jeez...

HinaBN:
:bulletgreen: Picture of a pissy-looking Conrad
:bulletgreen: Rp-related picture of teen!Lamont and teen!Worth (not really slashy)
:bulletgreen: Completely fluffy fluff picture of Worth and Lamont cuddling in their sleep. I started this in last November. How about actually finishing it?
:bulletgreen: Picture of teen!Conrad and med school!Worth (Ehh...slash hinted?)
:bulletgreen: Picture of teen!Lamont, that I'm not exactly sure what to do with it. It's only a sketch, but I really like it since he looks so cute in it.
:bulletgreen: Picture of Lamont, that I'm not going to specify. I'm mainly drawing it for shits and giggles, really.
:bulletgreen: Surprise thing for my Popinjay
:bulletgreen: Worth-centric fanfic (Yes, I actually write. Now isn't that a surprise?).
:bulletgreen: Young!ConWorth fanfic, that will definitely not be uploaded here (If I ever finish it, that is.), because I like staying unbanned.

Other stuff:
:bulletblue: A chibified picture of Garcia from Criminal Minds, because she is one of my favorite female characters in pretty much any of my fandoms.
:bulletpurple: Happy picture of the 10th Doctor and his Tardis from Doctor Who.
:bulletred: New version of an old picture of Ezio and Leonardo from Assassin's Creed, since my Elmchilde wants it back and I don't like the old version.

I sure love me some Criminal Minds. This quiz lacks Elle Greenaway, but whatever. And yeah, I wish I was like Spence. He's definitely on the list of fictional doctors I love.
